Men's Breakfast & Book Studies

We meet early every other Saturday morning.

On the first weekend of the month, we have breakfast and go through a chapter of Proverbs. All ages welcome!

Then on the third week, we meet again for a book study and discussion (with coffee and small snacks).
Recent books include: It's Good to Be A Man by Michael Foster and Family Shepherds by Voddie Baucham.

Women's Bible Study

The women's bible study for this fall and winter is meeting every other week to study the Gospel of Mark via a workbook from John MacArthur on Thursday nights or Saturday mornings. Please see the event calendar for specifics.

This ministry seeks to foster spiritual growth by bringing women together around God's word, combining individual preparation with small group discussion.

Adults

Adults and teenagers usually meet in the annex, and we study a mix of topics. Currently, we are going chapter by chapter through the 1689 Confession.

Last year, we studied 36 faithful Christians using John MacArthur's series of 3 books on twelve men, women, and unexpected heroes of the faith as a starting point. Prior to that, we rotated between a walk through of Trueman's Strange New World and an in-depth study of a Baptist version of the Shorter Catechism.

Children

Children meet as a 'one room schoolhouse', 3 years old up to 12. They practice scripture & catechism memorization, singing, and biblical lessons. A nursery/toddler group is available as well.

Sewing4Souls

Some ladies at Harbor meet together weekly and contribute to Sewing4Souls, a program that provides home-made sun dresses, shirts, shorts, and other articles of clothing to children abroad in need.

Don't know how to sew? Any skill levels are welcome, because it is also a time of learning and discipleship!

Wednesday Night Prayer

In the middle of the week, we come together to pray, remembering who God is, thanking Him for his provision, and bringing needs to Him. We have a short devotional study, usually rotating through the Psalms, and close with a focus on the needs of global missions.
