Ministries at Harbor

Men's breakfast

Men's Breakfast & Book Studies

We meet early every other Saturday morning.

On the first weekend of the month, we have breakfast and go through a chapter of Proverbs. All ages welcome!

Then on the third week, we meet again for a book study and discussion (with coffee and small snacks).
Recent books include: It's Good to Be A Man by Michael Foster and Family Shepherds by Voddie Baucham.

Women's Bible Study

The women's bible study for this summer has concluded. Details and schedule for the autumn are pending.

Beware of a merely intellectual Christianity with no love for souls.

Sewing4Souls

We support

Some ladies at Harbor meet together weekly and contribute to Sewing4Souls, a program that provides home-made sun dresses, shirts, shorts, and other articles of clothing to children abroad in need.

Don't know how to sew? Any skill levels are welcome, because it is also a time of learning and discipleship!

Wednesday Night Prayer

In the middle of the week, we come together to pray, remembering who God is, thanking Him for his provision, and bringing needs to Him. We have a short devotional study, usually rotating through the Psalms, and close with a focus on the needs of global missions.

Bring a notepad!

Adults

Adults and teenagers usually meet in the annex, and we study a mix of topics. There's a break for the summer, but we'll pick up where we left off studying church history using Nick Needham's 2000 Years of Christ's Power as the organizing source.

Last year, we went through the 1689 Confession and prior to that, studied 36 faithful Christians using John MacArthur's series of 3 books on twelve men, women, and unexpected heroes of the faith as a starting point.

Children meet as a 'one room schoolhouse', 3 years old up to 12. They practice scripture & catechism memorization, singing, and biblical lessons. A nursery/toddler group is available as well.
